DAY 1

WELCOME TO TOKYO JAPAN – ODAIBA, RAINBOW BRIDGE & SHIBUYA CROSSING

Welcome to Japan, after clearing customs & collecting your luggage, meet your tour manager outside the arrival hall. Once everybody is ready, transfer to the hotel. Check in and free time to relax after a long flight.

In the evening, assemble in the hotel lobby as proceed to experience bay side Tokyo & Odaiba –which is perfect place to start your Japanese Sojourn. We will drive pass Rainbow Bridge, stop at Statue of Liberty for Pictures & then stop at Odaiba beach front deck. Free time to explore the area & enjoy sea side breeze before heading for a welcome dinner at Indian Restaurant. Post Dinner Visit the world-famous Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, often called the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing.

DAY 2

TOKYO: GUIDED CITY SIGHTSEEING

Tokyo is a city that is always moving forward – from the ever-changing skyline to the fashion and trends of the population. As modern as it may appear, behind the neon façade is a traditional soul that is easy to find amongst the old alleyways, temples and shrines of the Edo era in Tokyo. Experience both sides of the city- highlights of today’s sightseeing are Asakusa-Senso ji shrine, Nakamise shopping street, Tokyo Sky tree, Toyota museum and Venus fort, Orientation tour of imperial palace, national diet building, president Abe’s house, Chidorigafuchi Park, Tokyo station and Ginza street in the evening .

Exclusive Experience –Make your free time at Senso-ji even more authentic by enjoying it fully dressed and accessorized in a traditional Japanese kimono!

DAY 3

MOUNT FUJI & HAKONE

Travel around 3 hours by road from Tokyo to Mount Fuji where you ascend 2,400 meters up, Japan’s most iconic sight to the 5th Station (weather permitting – if the road to the 5th Station is closed, you will instead visit the Fuji Visitor Centre). Transfer to the spa region of Hakone and visit the spectacular Lake Ashi. Next, fly high above the lake on the Komagatake Ropeway to the summit of Mt Komagatake, where the views of Mt Fuji will be breathtaking but weather dependent of course!

After Visiting Hakone – Transfer to the train station and travel 1.5 hours by bullet train to Hiroshima, which today is a vibrant and modern city with a forward-thinking and a sunny outlook.

DAY 4

HIROSHIMA-MIYAJIMA & PEACE MEMORIAL PARK

Visit Island of Miyajima which takes a short ferry ride to the holy island of Miyajima, where you’ll visit the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rising majestically out of the waters of the Seta Island Sea. Sightseeing will be at a leisurely pace on foot.

In the afternoon wander through the leafy and peaceful expanse of the Peace Memorial Park, and visit the striking A-Bomb Dome, before exploring the moving Peace Memorial Museum.

Later, free Time for shopping at Hondori and Indian dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Hiroshima.

Please note, your luggage will be transferred separately by courier services to Osaka and will not arrive until the following day so you will need to pack a separate overnight bag for your night in Hiroshima.

DAY 5

BULLET TRAIN TO OSAKA-EXPLORE NARA & OSAKA

Today after breakfast, board a bullet train to Osaka & drive to Nara. This picturesque, compact city is endlessly charming, something you’ll notice as you explore. Visit and admire the magnificent Daibutsu, the world’s largest bronze statue of Buddha at Todaiji. The grounds of the temple are occupied by Sika Deer, regarded as messengers of the Shinto gods, and later stroll through Isuien Gardens.

Later drive to Osaka & visit Osaka castle, Kaiyukan Aquarium, Tempozan Harbour and if time permits spend the evening in the vibrant Namba District.

DAY 6

EXPLORE KYOTO, VISIT FUSHIMA INARI TEMPLE & GION DISTRICT

This morning visit the Arashiyama Bamboo forest, the famous Kinkaku-Ji Temple-Golden Pavilion-set amongst classical Japanese Zen Garden. A philosopher path which is lined with hundreds of cherry trees and exploded with colours in the cherry blossom season and also follow the pathway through thousands of vermillion torii gates that leads through a complex of shrines spread over a peaceful, forested hillside at the magnificent Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Later in the evening, visit Gion District – Kyoto’s geisha district, with hostesses in colourful kimonos often sighted on the wooden Tatsumi Bridge or amid upscale Japanese restaurants and boutiques on Hanamikoji Street.

DAY 7

DEPART OSAKA

Transfer to Osaka’s airport and fly back to India with happy memories of tour.
