DAY 1
Welcome to Porto
Welcome to Porto! Porto is a port city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. On arrival, meet & assist at the airport & transfer to your centrally located hotel. In the evening, we guide you to medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, walk around narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes. Later end your day savoring divine food & wine of Porto admiring beautiful Sunset along Douro River.
DAY 2
Guided Walking Tour of Porto!
We will walk around Porto with our qualified guide who will explain us about Proud Porto. You will have the opportunity to visit the Cathedral, the São Bento train station, and Lello Bookstore. During the tour, the guide will share important information about the different squares and streets of the historic center as Praça da Batalha, the street of Santa Catarina, the Café Majestic coffee shop, Bolhão Market and Avenue of the Allies.
Lunch will be at a restaurant in Ribeira area (near Douro River).
Post lunch, see the city under a different point of view, making a one-hour cruise along the Douro river, so you have the opportunity to go through the different bridges connecting Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia. Post cruise, we recommend to spend some more time in Vila Nova De Gaia.
DAY 3
Douro Vine Region
Today, drive to Portugal’s most famous wine-making region: the lush, green Douro Valley, where we’ll visit an old family estate and winery (quinta) with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. It’s a perfect chance to learn all about the proud art of making fine Port. We will have a leisurely lavish lunch with local port wine, at one of the local restaurants with great view of Douro Valley. Later in the afternoon back to Porto.
DAY 4
Road to Lisbon, Guided Alfama walk & Fado with Dinner
Today to Lisbon, capital city of Portugal. In the afternoon, familiarize yourself with the neighborhood & relax at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy Lisbon’s best belvederes and the most charismatic Fado districts of Mouraria and Alfama. Experience the sweet taste of Lisbon’s favorite liqueur Ginjinha in a local Fado tavern while walking in Mouraria. Take a fun ride on the historical ‘tram 28’. Admire the sunset, from the hill of the castle overlooking the old town, wander through atmospheric Alfama at dusk. Enjoy a rousing Fado performance, in an old palace with a delicious dinner of Portuguese tapas and wine.
DAY 5
Neighborhoods of Lisbon
Explore the traditional and historic streets of Lisbon with our guide. Learn about the local culture and spend time at the local shops and restaurants.
DAY 6
Visit to Sintra with Lunch
Full day visit to Sintra, where you will visit the palace of Sintra and walk through the charming village. Enjoy the amazing view from the western most point of Europe (Cabo da Roca). Along the coast, we cross one of the most famous surfing beaches, the incredible Boca do Inferno, the cosmopolitan Cascais and the gardens of Estoril Casino. Afternoon free to explore the city on your own pace & buy souvenirs.
DAY 7
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your onward flight.

- We reserve the rights to change (addition/deletion or exchange) sightseeing places for betterment of the tour programme. We may detour to reach sightseeing places due to traffic conditions; road blocks and that may vary the course of itinerary.
- There will be no refund for unutilized services on tour.
- Hotel may ask for security deposit at time of check-in.
- Cost of any additional drinks over meal has to be borne by guest.
- If you need someone to assist to bring luggage to/from your room we can book porter service at additional fees.
