Croatia
Star Vacations has designed the perfect itinerary for an immersive journey to Croatia. Our travel experts know the destination inside and out, and they can make recommendations based on your travel needs and preferences.
Welcome to Zagreb – Zagreb is a mixture of straight-laced Austro-Hungarian architecture and rough-around-the-edges socialist structures, its character a sometimes-uneasy combination of the two elements. This small metropolis is made for strolling the streets, drinking coffee in the permanently full cafes, popping into museums and galleries, and enjoying the theatres, concerts and cinema.
After immigration we will proceed to city of Zagreb, on arrival check in at hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit Museum of Broken Relationships with the guide -a physical and virtual public space created with the sole purpose of treasuring and sharing your heartbreak stories and symbolic possessions. It is a museum about you, about us, about the ways we love and lose. At its core, the museum is an ever-growing collection of items, each a memento of a relationship past, accompanied by a personal, yet anonymous story of its contributor. Unlike ‘destructive’ self-help instructions for recovery from grief and loss, the museum offers the chance to overcome an emotional collapse through creativity – by contributing to its universal collection.
Later your guide will join you for guided walk of Zagreb (2 Hours) covering upper and lower town and check out all the city highlights. Your personal guide gives you a unique private tour of the history of Zagreb.
